MEMBERSHIP
Being part of a local church is one of the ways believers grow in faith, serve others, and live out the gospel together. At Gospel City, membership is a commitment to worship, learn, and serve alongside one another as we follow Christ. If you are considering membership, we want to help you prayerfully determine whether Gospel City is the right church home for you.
MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
The Bible teaches that all believers are united in Christ as part of the universal church. At the same time, the New Testament shows that Christians are meant to live out their faith within a local church community under the care and leadership of church elders.
Church membership is a way of committing to that community. It allows us to encourage one another, serve together, and grow in faith as we seek to live for Christ in our city.
BECOMING A MEMBER
Membership at Gospel City is open to those who:
- Have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior
- Have been baptized as a believer by immersion
- Attend our Membership Class
- Meet with one of our church elders
- Agree with our Statement of Faith
